Semiconductors have had a monumental impact on our society, changing the way we work, play and communicate. This electronics revolution, however, is still in its infancy. Further advances in IC design and processing technology will push electronics into new and useful applications. Continued research in IC design will lead to better products that will further increase our productivity and standard of living.
